Amarr recommends that you wash your steel door a minimum of one time per year with the following:
- One cup of Tide or other common detergents that contain less than 0.5% phosphate), dissolved into 5 gallons of warm water.
CAUTION: NEVER BLEND CLEANSERS OR DETERGENTS WITH BLEACH
- Use a well-soaked cloth, sponge, soft bristle brush or low pressure spray washer to wash the door. Once the door is completely washed, thoroughly rinse the door with clean water to eliminate the possibility of any residue.
When it comes to the springs, rollers and hinges, it is recommended to have them lubricated at least once a year, preferably by a professional door technician.
Visually inspect the springs and cables for wear and tear and contact a professional door technician to address any suspected damage or concerns.
CAUTION: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE, REPAIR OR ADJUST SPRINGS. SPRINGS ARE HIGH TENSION LOADED AND CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
